Words of praise
"I absolutely loved it and so did my congregants. I highly recommend that you get to know this important work."
- Rev. Kevin Ross

"I laughed, cried, sighed and snapped my fingers. This has all the elements to seed and nurture meaningful conversation for all about true inclusion by listening to each others stories. Not to dwell on the past but to create a different future."
- Rev. Christie Hardwick
Spirited Contribution
"An essential element of the deep healing required to create a world that values and supports the spiritual and intellectual growth and participation of everyone is the ability to share and receive each other's stories. Authentic Voices touches you, tickles you and grows you, all at the same time!"

"Authentic Voices tackles equality among all people in a way that is inclusive and relatable. It will make you exhale in relief knowing that there are other people out there who have experienced what you have. You will definitely laugh, you might even cry, but most of all, you will be ready to talk from the heart and inspired to make a difference.

Dear Colleagues:
In February 2014, I had the opportunity to bring Authentic Voices to my Sociology 30B: Intercultural Relations in Multicultural Societies class at UCD. The interactive experience provided my students with substance and a learning experience that fostered reflection and challenged their assumptions on race, gender, identity, and human diversity. I give my highest recommendation to this local performance/storytelling program. Authentic Voices seeks to bring diverse communities together, raise diversity awareness on campuses, and inform community members about multicultural topics.
These topics include: white privilege, racism, xenophobia, heterosexism, and social explanations explored through hegemony theory. When Authentic Voices gave a guest lecture/performance—my students were both didactically informed and magnificently mesmerized by the truthful exploration of identity, power, and change.
Authentic Voices, infuses humor, wit and honesty while presenting topics that are often difficult to discuss. Through dramatic reading and performance, I believe that Authentic Voices is a powerful learning tool for Student and Academic Boards, Coffeehouse events, Women’s' Studies, Women's Center Events, Multicultural Affairs, Art Gallery openings, Diversity Training, Orientation, and Classroom presentations.
